Our Mission
As an independent, founder-owned company, we focus on building honest, effective tools that protect against modern threats, making next-generation security accessible. We secure the software supply chain by replacing trust assumptions with hardware-rooted verification: European, sovereignty-aligned, and verifiable by anyone. We believe that robust security should be the default, not an afterthought.
Our Team
Daniel and Mario met at the University of Cambridge during their PhDs. Recognizing that modern security technologies are underutilized due to their complexity, they founded Light Squares in September 2025 to bring their vision to life. The research behind Attestable Builds was peer-reviewed and presented at ACM CCS 2025. Based in Cambridge, UK, we combine cutting-edge research with practical engineering to build solutions that are both powerful and simple to use.
